Plastic shuttles – away advantage too much for Mens 2

Home advantage for Leasowes with plastic shuttles

Ashton Mens 2 V. Leasowes – Friday 22 November

Mens 2 lost 11-7, in a bad hall, poor nets, crappy blue sucky plastic shuttles that sucked, reflective yellow floor and yellow lines intermixed with dozens of other multi-coloured lines and what seemed like smaller courts (certainly to HCK…surely?). […]

Cradley League – Mens Badminton

 Mens 3 V. Austin – 15 November 2012 – Team Captain Alan Postans.

It was going to be tough match with 2 pairs boasting virtually no experience of playing together.  Joshua Carrington attacked well and I think will be a great prospect with experience.  The shuttles threw us for first game (it was like playing […]
